Dr. Cathy Shrader is a highly skilled cataract surgeon who has practiced in Maryland for over 19 years. She obtained her undergraduate as well as medical degree from the University of Alabama. She completed her Ophthalmology residence at the Washington Hospital Center where she won the Davis Award for clinical research. She will volunteers her time to teach the residents at the Washington Hospital Center.
Dr. Shrader enjoys all aspects of the practice of Ophthalmology. She performs comprehensive eye exams for all conditions relating to the eyes. However, her special interest is in the Medical and Surgical treatment of cataract and glaucoma.
Dr. Shrader is Board Certified with the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
