Dr. Nootheti is a graduate of George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington D.C., where she also completed her Internship in Internal Medicine. She did her residency in Ophthalmology at Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia, where she was appointed as the Chief Ophthalmology Resident. She then went onto receive additional training in Glaucoma at Kresge Eye Institute of Wayne State University in Michigan.

After Completing her fellowship training, Dr. Nootheti was appointed as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Kresge and local Program Director of the residency program at Sinai-Grace hospital in Michigan. There, she worked closely with Fellows and residents in academic training and enjoyed teaching both medical and surgical Ophthalmology.

Dr. Nootheti is Board Certified in Ophthalmology and has made several presentations at the annual Academy of Ophthalmology and association for research and Vision in Ophthalmology meetings.

Dr. Nootheti is compassionate and dedicated to providing excellent health care for her patients in the successful management of ocular conditions.
