Dr. Hector A. Rojas obtained his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Rojas finished his Ophthalmology Residency at Georgetown University Hospital/Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. where he plans to continue volunteering time teaching residents clinical and surgical skills. Dr. Rojas’s passion for all aspects of Ophthalmology became the core reason for his decision to practice General Ophthalmology. He takes a comprehensive approach with every exam and is able to offer a wide variety of medical and surgical managements. Dr. Rojas is particularly interested in advanced cataract surgery, glaucoma laser procedures and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. Dr. Rojas is fully fluent in English and Spanish. Outside of clinic hours, he enjoys spending time with his family which includes two miniature poodles, hiking, running, swimming, and climbing.
